WELCOME!!

WE DO NOT ALLOW LICENSED SERVICES SUCH AS GMRS AND HAM ON THE SAME NETWORK – FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT 26RC126!

UPDATE 07/10/2026: MOST OF EVERYTHING WILL BE MIGRATED TO ALLSTARLINK3 SO CONTENTS MAY BE OUTDATED, AND VENTRILO 2/VENTRILO 3/MUMBLE/FREE RADIO NETWORK WILL BE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE AT SOME POINT DUE TO HUGE EXPENSES… IT WILL BE BACK ON, IT JUST MAY NOT BE TODAY…

This network allows any unlicensed radio type such as CB and PMR446 to link up to the public network – essentially allowing people from the internet and phones to talk on the radio without buying anything!

HOW TO CONNECT

There are loads of ways to connect to the network. The easiest way to connect to this network from the UK perspective is calling it as it doesn’t require you to use the internet, nor does it require you to install any programs or any apps. The number to call is +44 1452 207134, as there’s no cap on call channels unlike our other numbers we have – theoretically this could apply to any other country outside of the UK but calling charges may apply and may even get expensive for an average user. The second easiest way to connect to this network is connecting to our TeamSpeak 3 server as it does not require any accounts despite popups for myTeamSpeak but you can skip it (TeamSpeak 6 clients work with our TeamSpeak 3 server but you must have a myTeamSpeak account to use it), and this is where our main infrastructure is.

If you are running a computer that’s too old to run TeamSpeak 3 then we do have a Ventrilo 2 server running that’s directly linked to our infrastructure with several unlinked channels and we allow private channels (just ask) due to how hard it is to find this application for the average user (we also provide a download link for it). Ventrilo 2 supports Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and beyond; however, if you’re having issues with PTT, make sure to run as administrator. We would recommend you to use that instead of Free Radio Network in this context because Free Radio Network requires an account via email and with verification unlike Ventrilo 2. Click here to get straight into it.

We are considering implementing TeamSpeak 1 and TeamSpeak 2 servers eventually, possibly even 16-bit applications…

If for some reason our TeamSpeak 3 server is blocked we do crosslink our TeamSpeak 3 server to other TeamSpeak 3 servers hosted in various different countries, especially in authoritarian and totalitarian countries where they may block their citizens from accessing things that’s outside it – see The Great Firewall and Turkmenistan’s internet censorship. Although, at least it’s not enough of a political threat to alarm the CCP (they’re outcome-based). You can see all our servers and nodes listed below, note that it may not be in order for now.

RADIO NODES

Please note that the TX power is how much it’s capable of transmitting up to. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the model is transmitting at this much due to various circumstances such as voltage losses, battery state, etc. so the TX power is the highest the model can transmit up to.

TS3-LINK (DEPRECATED)

UPDATE 01/10/2026: This is no longer 24/7 and is no longer linked to the Radio Network due to interference, audio issues, target audience mismatch (gamers AND radio users), trolling, and saving money. However it can still be accessed on its own subchannel and will not be maintained anymore – so use at your own risk.

For Turkmen servers, we did not publicly advertise ourselves on there, and we are not advertising the IPs on here simply because the citizens can get into serious trouble for talking to foreigners and breaking other numerous laws that they may have set up – the Turkmen hereditary dictatorship could potentially use it as evidence. If we’re not too careful then we could potentially end up getting innocent people into serious life-threatening issues which is far more likely as they are a totalitarian country in the same league as North Korea. If you do come across those, don’t spread it ‘round guys.

DISCORD SERVERS

UPDATE 01/10/2026: Due to Discord’s aggressive security, new accounts and pre-existing accounts can easily get terminated or asked to input a specific form of a phone number (mobile-only, VoIP ones are not allowed) so we don’t really offer Discord ourselves anymore in most cases – though you are more than welcome to attempt and proceed to crosslink your Discord server(s) to our radio network. We recommend you do this from your home network rather than a VPS or another form of cloud servers as Discord’s security restricts them unless you provide a mobile phone number. Discord can also log you off easily if you restart your computer if you’ve been logged on for too long. We have discontinued the node list for it due to this and only use what’s below. Treat this as an experiment rather than stable use and be aware that it may not even be online on the server. They also technically prevent “automated clients” meaning a client that just joins a voice channel specifically could be captured.

RADIO REPEATER/GATEWAY/CROSSLINK RULES & GUIDELINES

This also applies to people who are using radios, gateways, repeaters, and crosslinks that are part of, or linked to, our infrastructure.

·     When you set up a radio gateway or repeater, you MUST NOT stop audio as soon as somebody uses it unless you’re testing or maintaining it.

·     Ensure that the squelch is set to as minimum as possible so the gateway can pick up weak signals.

·     For crosslinking to full-duplex systems like Discord make sure to put the capture profile (the output of full duplex platform) on TeamSpeak or any other to Hybrid -50 or automatic and for half-duplex systems put the volume gate to -50 unless it picks up interference (like my setup does) which in that case put it to Hybrid -50. Automatic on TeamSpeak picks up less than -50 which can pick up echo cancellation and dead key ups so this is why I recommend Hybrid as the de-facto automatic.

·     For uplink-only clients, set the playback profile to “None” if you can. For downlink-only clients, set the capture profile to “None” if you can. A capture profile is how you hear the gateway (uplink), a playback profile is how the gateway hears you (downlink).

·     “Uplink” and “downlink” is the same thing as “input” and “output.”

·     TeamSpeak 3 is the most flexible out of any program as TeamSpeak 3 does not require playback profiles and/or capture profiles to use it – and repeaters go through instantly as TeamSpeak 3 is full-duplex, make sure to use that if you want to make life easier.

·     You must not play copyrighted music into this network.

·     You must not use AI or program ghost radio operators into this network.

·     One-way transmissions including weather and news are fine, but it must not last longer than 2-3 minutes and it cannot monopolise the whole network in a way that’s going to prevent other users from speaking. We do have priority speaker in place to help ensure that people can talk over one-way transmissions which can be an exemption in certain circumstances.

·     It is recommended to set the remove background noise threshold on TeamSpeak 3 to the max as it makes weak signals much clearer to hear. The background noise removal on TeamSpeak 3 is surprisingly good.

·     You should not aggressively self-police or self-police in a way that can cause harm to yourself in any way, shape, or form – it introduces rigidity, exhaustion, and could produce anxiety and/or confidence loss.

·     You must not aggressively enforce rules and guidelines in a way that’s strict in outcome and would make this less fun and more exhausting to be in. The best way of seeing if someone breaks the rules is wait a reasonable amount of seconds then respond proportionately if they carry on – this could include unlinking or simply just muting a user off TeamSpeak 3; you don’t even have to say a word.

·     You are fully responsible for the gateways, repeaters, and crosslinks that you create. You would officially be the keeper for each of those. We are legally not responsible if you go above regulations in your jurisdiction.

·     You can set up gateways and repeaters your own way; VOX, COMs, indoor or outdoor antennas, computer, an old Android phone, whatever or however you like.

·     You should label your radio node in this format: “[TYPE] [CHANNEL-NO] [LOCATION]”. The type would be something like “PMR446”, the CHANNEL-NO would be something like 08, it must match your channel number on the radio, and location could be shortened or formatted differently – it just has to be a town/village/city and a county or postcode like “GL19” if it’s too short. You can shorten it if it gets too long.

·     You can set up your own gateway on any program that you want and crosslink it into our infrastructure.

·     You should not tell other keepers what they’re doing breaks our rules and guidelines because we wouldn’t enforce every single thing that’s listed here in every single way.

·     Keepers have the right to mute whichever node on their TeamSpeak 3 client however it can cause one-way risk if the other keeper doesn’t mute it too which can lead to confusion to other radio users and potentially nuisance which wouldn’t look good, so keepers should mute for a limited amount of time – this does not apply to any non-radio nodes like TS3-LINK.

·     You must not cause nuisance in a way that’s going to be really annoying and hard work to deal with on this network.

·     Licensed keepers such as Amateur Radio keepers and GMRS keepers should ensure that their nodes do not link to our main network because it is where unlicensed services like PMR446 and CB go, granting those that do not hold a license access to licensed services. If they do wish to participate in linking, they can ask 26RC126 for more information on this matter.

·     Keepers that are linked to our main network should ensure that their linked licensed nodes should not be going to the main network and that their licensed nodes aren’t monitoring our main network.

·     When keepers report their TX power they need to report how much their model is capable of transmitting up to and make that clear, because for some keepers they may be using a battery-powered model that’s plugged in via USB and if it’s being used whilst it’s on charge then the voltage of the model would drop which means that it’s now transmitting under the TX power that’s listed which could cause confusion for those that are using it and possibly make them feel misled as the range appears to be less than the claimed transmission power - this applies to every other radio model type including CBs since the Thunderpole T-X, a popular CB handheld, can just stop charging once it’s fully charged and go flat; despite it being plugged in.
